Join us at the Turf Club to show up in 2019 for attainable and affordable housing and homes for all; for safe streets, sustainability and great transit options; for community-first public safety; and for building community wealth through generations so all in our city can succeed.
I'm running to be a new progressive leader for the future of our city, but I'm also running to do something even bigger and deeper than that: to lift up all voices in our city, and to break down the barriers between residents and our government. Whether you've lived here for 4 months or 40 years, you have a stake in our community, and you deserve a say in the decisions that impact us all. I am so proud that the broad coalition we have built reflects the diversity of our community, and it would be my greatest honor to represent you as our next Ward 4 City Councilwoman.
Election Day is Tuesday, August 14!
Iranian-Americans, or Persians, are over 1,000,000 strong and growing - but have virtually no representation in almost any office nationwide. This year, Leili Fatehi and Mitra Jalali Nelson are Iranian-American women launching historic candidacies at a time when our very communities are under attack. Join us to support new political leadership for a more progressive politics that will stand up for us all.
